Spa Water Care
Draining of Spa water can be done within 2 to 3 months depending on the usage; however, if the spa has an Ozonator then it can take about 9 months. In changing spa water you need a half-cup of bleach together with 3 gallons of clean water together with a sponge to clean the spa shell. Rinse with fresh water before replacing the spa and fill the Spa with fresh water to the recommended level, and allow bleeding of air from the filter and pumps to ensure it is being primed. Before filling run a test of the water by adjusting the pH of the water with a pH up or down, and allow the water to filter before doing a reset on the pH meter. A weekly maintenance should be done on the spa water, by testing water for chlorine or bromine, pH, and alkalinity. Removing of stain, rinsing off the filter cartridges, and squeezing out scum bags and rinse them with fresh clean water.

Brominating concentration is a step for fast dissolving cleaning agents, which is used in sanitizing both Spa and Hot tub. The brominating granule acts as both water sanitizer and oxidizer which kills and controls bacteria. It can be added directly to the spa and does not need dissolving and gives restoration of water clarity. Bromine concentrate has great advantages over chlorine, this is because when added to water it gives rise to sanitizer and oxidizer hypobromous acid.
